Crystal Ball: Israel Election results01/23/2003 Following are my updated predictions regarding the Israeli elections, not much changed from earlier ones: (and including NRP)
Right Bloc 66: Likud - 32| NRP|4| Nat Union 8 | Shas 14| UTJ 4| Yisrael B'Aliya 4|
There will be a large "center" contingent. These parties seem to attract mostly ex-Labor and Meretz voters.
Uncertainty as to individual party results is relatively large because of the large number of undecided votes, but the indecision applies mostly to votes within a political block, or between a center party and left or right party. The ultra-right Herut and/or the "Green" Aleh Yarok party may get enough votes to pass the 1.5 seat barrier and get 2 Knesset seats apiece.
